Relax in our beautiful house located on the outskits of a tranquil and very tradition village in the comune of the medieval town of Città di Castello in Umbria. Originally a Tobacco Tower the property has been lovingly restored to a very high standard retaining many of the original features.
The property is situated on a hillside, and hence parking and entrance to Villa Quercia is from the top - upper floor through the coverd terrace which is surrounded by climbing roses and large terracotta pots. Set over two floors, the tobacco tower comprises of two master bedrooms with large double beds and both with their own bathrooms. One of these masters has its own private terrace and the other master is part of a suite comprising of bedroom, bathroom and dressing area. There are two further bedrooms each with two single beds (one can be made into double) and again each with own lovely bathroom.
There is a large open-plan kitchen, dining area and lounging area downstairs. Bright lovely sitting room upstairs and the wonderful and very large covered terrace just outside of the upstairs sitting room.
Outside the property there is a large terraced garden with dining terrace with barbecue just outside of the kitchen and the above average sized saline, private swimming pool which is surrounded by lovely gardens with fabulous aromatic plants including a row of lavender stretching the entire lenght of the pool and herbs such as sage, rosemary and thyme. This area also hosts sunloungers with individual sun shades. There is further seating dotted around the extensive gardens including a hammock in the private woodlands and the ping-pong table on one of the terraces. All this with spectacular views of the beautiful Umbrian countryside and closeness to an array of wonderful places to visit.
